Job Description for Business Development
Roles and Responsibilities:
• MAKING CALLS FOR APPOINTMENT AND MEETINGS WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS, ARCHITECTS AND CONTRACTOR.
• VISITING INTERIOR DESIGNERS, ARCHITECTS AND CONTRACTORS TO PITCH ABOUT THE COMPANY AND PRODUCTS.
• DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND RAPPORT WITH ARCHITECTS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS, CONTRACTORS AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT FIRMS, KEY PERSON / PURCHASER FOR MAINTAINING STRONG BRAND PRESENCE.
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
• To keep a tab on competition pricing, new product launch and promotional activities, give feedback on trends and market share and take suitable actions to mitigate the threats posed by competition in consultation with the senior.
• Maintain proper, accurate Data base of existing and new customers/Clients.
Follow up with them to expand the businesses. Updating and reporting of meetings / Calls / visits on a daily basis.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday
- 10:30 AM to 7 PM
- Sundays are off.
- Requires traveling and field Marketing.
Desired Skills Required :
• Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to identify potential clients, negotiate deals, and close sales effectively. This includes understanding pricing strategies, creating persuasive sales pitches, and managing client objections.
• Cultivate strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders in the construction and interior design industries. Networking and maintaining long-term partnerships are key for generating repeat business and referrals.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication is essential for conveying the value proposition of the wood veneer brand to potential clients. This includes verbal communication during sales presentations, written communication in proposals and contracts, and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Be proactive in addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and overcoming obstacles that may arise during the sales process. A solution-oriented approach can help maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
