Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Manager HR IR / AVP HR IR. This executive-level position is based near to Barbil and is full-time. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills as well as proficiency in managing industrial relations and human resource functions to drive organizational success.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated ability to guide and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals effectively.
  • Team Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in building and leading diverse teams, maximizing their performance, and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Communication (Mandatory skill): Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Planning: Adept at developing long-term goals and implementing strategies to support the company's objectives.
  • Financial Management: Capable of managing budgets, forecasting, and ensuring financial efficiency within the HR function.
  • Industrial Relations: In-depth understanding of labor laws and experience in maintaining harmonious employer-employee relationships.
  • Government Liaisoning: Skilled in engaging and negotiating with government bodies to align with regulatory standards and policies.
  • Decision Making: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to resolve complex HR issues promptly and effectively.
  • MBA or PGDBM in HR & IR from any Recognised university or Deemed university.
  • The candidate must have good knowledge and experience in HR, IR, Statutory Laws, PMS, T&D, Labour Laws, Wages & Compensation, Contract           Management, Liasioning with Government Authorities, Redressal of Employee Grievance & Disciplinary Matter, Exposure in dealing with Conciliation meeting under Industrial    Dispute Act.
  • Preferable Industry : From Manufacturing or Mining Industry.
  • This position will be reporting to VP -HR.
  • Compensation : Decent hike on current package + other benefits


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all HR functions.
  • Coordinate HR efforts to attract and retain talented individuals for various roles.
  • Lead collective bargaining negotiations and handle disputes in industrial relations matters.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure effective budget management.
  • Manage and improve relations with government agencies and adhere to policy changes.
