HIRExpert is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cataract Surgeon for a full-time position for one of it's reputed Healthcare client at TamilNadu Location. The role requires candidates with 1 to 6 years of experience in ophthalmic surgery. The position is based in multiple locations including Erode, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Puducherry, Villupuram, Karur, and Nagercoil.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have experience and proficiency in cataract surgery, as this is a mandatory skill crucial for the role.
• Strong understanding of cataract extraction techniques to ensure successful patient outcomes.
• Ability to provide comprehensive patient care with expertise in pre and postoperative management.
• Advanced surgical skills to perform precise and minimally invasive procedures.
• Detailed knowledge of eye anatomy to accurately diagnose and treat various conditions.
• Expertise in phacoemulsification procedures to efficiently remove cataracts and minimize complications.
• Familiarity with managing glaucoma and employing preventive strategies during surgeries.
• Experience with small incision surgical techniques for improved recovery time and patient satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform cataract surgeries with high precision, minimizing risks and ensuring optimal vision restoration.
• Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations to determine the best surgical approach for each patient.
• Manage postoperative care to monitor patient recovery and address any complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmic surgery to improve surgical outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and postoperative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document surgical procedures and patient progress.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of patient care and safety.
