Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cataract and Medical Retina Surgeon for a full-time for PAN India based corporate hospital. The successful candidate will be based in one of the following locations: Tiruppur, Thirupattur, Erode, Krishnagiri, Puducherry, Villupuram, Dharmapuri, or Coimbatore. Applicants should have relevant work experience in Ophthalmology and Surgery, poised to contribute their expertise in eye care treatment and surgeries.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of ophthalmology practices and procedures, particularly in cataract and retina treatments.
  • Proven experience in surgery with an emphasis on precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Skilled in phacoemulsification for cataract surgery, with the ability to perform complex surgical procedures efficiently.
  • Experience in intraocular lens implantation, ensuring correct selection and placement aligned with patient needs.
  • Strong post-operative care skills, providing guidance and support for patients during recovery ensuring optimal healing.
  • Adept at visual acuity assessment, demonstrating the ability to accurately measure and interpret results for treatment planning.
  • Experience in medical retina, understanding the latest advancements in treatment to offer comprehensive eye care.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose conditions related to cataracts and retinal disorders.
  • Perform cataract surgeries and related ophthalmic procedures with precision and care.
  • Manage patient treatment plans, including preoperative and postoperative care to maximize recovery outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced medical imaging to assist in diagnosing and treating eye conditions.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive eye care solutions.
  • Keep updated with the latest medical advancements in ophthalmology to enhance treatment protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for ongoing monitoring and treatment adjustments.
  • Provide patient education on eye health, post-surgery care, and preventive measures for long-term vision preservation.
