Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled API-Test Automation Engineer - Senior with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests for API services. The successful candidate will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to ensure the quality and performance of our API services.

Qualifications and Skills

• 7 to 10 years of experience in API testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Selenium.
• Experience with API testing frameworks, such as Rest Assured.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Proficient in using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automated tests for API services using Java and Selenium.
• Developing test frameworks and tools to support automated testing.
• Collaborating with the development team to understand API requirements and design test scenarios.
• Executing test cases and analyzing test results.
• Identifying and reporting defects, issues, and risks.
• Working closely with the quality assurance team to ensure the overall quality of the API services.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve testability and maintainability.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in API testing.
