Job Overview
We are seeking a Jr Business Development Manager Overseas for a full-time position based in Lucknow, Mumbai, or Delhi. This junior-level role requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience. The successful candidate will be instrumental in extending our services to international markets, focusing on sales and market research, particularly within the EdTech industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in customer relationship management, demonstrating an ability to foster and maintain client connections effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills are essential for closing deals and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
- Experience in lead generation and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in presentation skills, with an aptitude for delivering engaging and informative presentations to diverse audiences.
- Strategic planning capabilities, with an understanding of how to develop and implement effective business strategies.
- Sales experience with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets (Mandatory skill).
- Market research skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform business decisions (Mandatory skill).
- Knowledge of the EdTech industry, keeping abreast of trends and innovations to leverage new opportunities (Mandatory skill).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our company's presence in international markets, with a focus on the EdTech sector.
- Identify and research potential clients, establishing new business relationships and networks overseas.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to international partners and potential clients, showcasing our services.
- Participate in negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with the company’s service offerings, ensuring smooth implementation of solutions.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for further growth and differentiation in the market.
- Provide regular feedback and reports to management on business development activities, potential areas for growth, and customer insights.
