Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to join our team in Airoli. This is a full-time senior position requiring 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance, while managing budgets and external vendors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in facility management, demonstrating comprehensive oversight of building operations and maintenance.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance (Mandatory skill) with a track record of ensuring optimal operation of building systems.
- Demonstrated budget management skills (Mandatory skill), with experience in developing, managing, and reporting on financial expenditures and forecasts.
- Experience in vendor management (Mandatory skill), with the ability to negotiate contracts and maintain productive relationships with service providers.
- Strong project management skills to coordinate facility projects and ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
- Effective team leadership abilities, capable of managing and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff at all levels and provide clear instruction and documentation.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the facility operations, ensuring smooth and efficient services for employees and stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures to ensure the longevity and optimal function of facilities.
- Prepare and manage the facility budget, providing regular updates and reports on financial performance and projections.
- Establish and manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including negotiation and contract management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards across all facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise facility projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of facility management personnel, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices for sustainability and energy efficiency to reduce operational costs.
