Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Head to join our team at Hindustan Recruitment's Mumbai office. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The Accounts Head will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, ensuring financial accuracy, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial data, enabling informed business decisions (Mandatory skill).
- Strong capability in financial analysis to evaluate financial proposals and reports effectively (Mandatory skill).
- Audit compliance expertise is crucial to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records (Mandatory skill).
- Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting processes to oversee the preparation and implementation of financial budgets.
- Deep understanding of taxation for accurate preparation and filing of tax documents and adherence to regulations.
- Familiarity with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is necessary to manage and comply with tax regulations effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for leading a team of accountants and coordinating with other departments.
- Problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies and develop cost-effective solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to guide strategic business decisions and enhance financial performance.
- Maintain audit compliance by implementing sound financial practices and conducting regular audits.
- Manage budgeting activities, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and ensuring budgetary adherence.
- Handle taxation matters, ensuring all tax measurements are accurately calculated and reported.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of tax deductions at source to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants to facilitate professional development and efficiency.
