Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a mid-level, full-time position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. This role requires proficiency in developing testing frameworks and working collaboratively within our development team to optimize software quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Selenium for creating automated tests and ensuring comprehensive test coverage (Mandatory skill).
• Strong programming skills in Python, enabling the development of robust test scripts and frameworks (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with the Robot Framework for implementing and executing test cases effectively and efficiently.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes to effectively design and develop test strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex software issues swiftly.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey testing requirements and results to the development team and stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment to collaboratively deliver quality software solutions.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and task ownership in testing initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure product quality and identify defects efficiently.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify features and ensure testability of new features.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation test frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Debug and diagnose issues, coordinating with development teams to resolve test failures promptly.
• Analyze test results to report bugs and document enhancements needed for software features.
• Participate in design and code reviews, providing feedback to enhance software quality and performance.
• Continuously seek out opportunities to enhance testing processes and incorporate best practices.
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts to ensure quality standards.
