Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client, design, marketing, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing Shopify-based solutions.
• Customize and develop Shopify themes, templates, and functionalities to create unique and engaging online stores.
• Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs to enhance the store's functionality and user experience.
• Optimize the website for performance, speed, and responsiveness to ensure a smooth browsing and purchasing experience across devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and best practices to continuously improve the online store.
• Manage and maintain product catalogs, inventory, and payment gateways within the Shopify platform.
• Use analytics tools to track and measure the performance of the online store
• Basic SEO knowledge to optimize the website for Google rankings
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members and clients on Shopify-related matters
• Knowledge of payment gateways, shipping integrations, and order fulfillment processes.

Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify-based projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid (Shopify's templating language).
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI design, and conversion rate optimization.
• Ability to customize and modify existing themes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms or web technologies is a plus.
