Job Overview

The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. The Sales Team Lead will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople.


Qualifications and Skills

  • MBA & B. Tech / M.Tech Degree required.
  • 2 years experience in team handling and 2 years experience in field sales individual contribution.
  • Has sound business judgment, and sales skills.
  • Solid interpersonal, communication, and customer service capabilities.
  • Potent leadership qualities.
  • Exceptional organizational, creative, and resource management capabilities.
  • Good in aptitude.
  • Maximum age: 32
  • No prior experience in the solar industry required.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall running of the sales team.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team and by assessing the teams’ strengths and weaknesses.
  • Build business by organizing sales visits for existing leads, identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying new channels and channel partners.
  • Sell by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending and upselling solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Managing the sales process through specific software programs.
