Job Description

Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in PowerBuilder IDE and PowerScript Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) Application development, maintenance, and enhancement in PowerBuilder Troubleshooting and debugging PowerBuilder applications Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Ability to write unit tests and perform integration testing Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with web-based PowerBuilder applications (PowerBuilder Web or .NET integration) Knowledge of other programming languages (Java, C#, .NET) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Experience in Agile development environments Integration with third-party tools, components, or APIs Industry-specific experience (finance, healthcare, manufacturing) Knowledge of UI/UX design principles Performance tuning for PowerBuilder applications and queries Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell) Experience with test automation tools or scripts
