Job Overview
As a Cafe Manager at Haldivita, you will be stationed in Delhi, overseeing daily operations of our café. This full-time, mid-level role involves maintaining high standards of food safety, customer service, and operational efficiency. A key requirement for this position is having culinary experience. You will play a pivotal role in crafting memorable customer experiences and ensuring our café's success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in food safety standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers, minimizing health risks and ensuring compliance.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems for efficient transaction processing and monitoring sales activities, ensuring ease of use for the team and creating seamless transactions.
- Competence in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and meet customer demand without interruption, ensuring product availability.
- Excellent customer service skills to facilitate a welcoming atmosphere, rapidly address consumer inquiries and complaints, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Strong team leadership abilities to inspire, mentor, and develop café staff, enhancing productivity and ensuring that employees are motivated and aligned with goals.
- Familiarity with scheduling software to efficiently manage staff rotas, ensuring that business needs are met while accommodating personal requests.
- Financial management skills for accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation within the café.
- Supplier negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing, ensuring the best quality ingredients and materials at competitive costs for the café.
- Culinary experience necessary to enhance menu offerings and ensure top-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service and operations.
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques to diversify and enrich the café's menu.
