Job Overview

GullyHR is looking for a skilled and dedicated Physician Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Physician Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing healthcare billing claims and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and regulations, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Physician Billing Specialist or similar role
• Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and regulations
• Proficiency in using billing systems and software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate billing
• Submit and process healthcare claims for reimbursement
• Monitor and track claim status to ensure timely payment
• Resolve billing and claim issues with insurance companies and healthcare providers
• Communicate with patients and answer inquiries regarding billing
• Stay updated on medical billing regulations and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
