Job Summary:


We are looking for a skilled Boiler Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of steam boilers in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The operator will maintain boiler systems, ensure consistent steam supply for production processes, and follow strict quality and safety guidelines to meet pharmaceutical standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate and monitor boilers, ensuring a continuous steam supply for various production processes in the pharmaceutical facility.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of boilers, steam distribution systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure proper temperature, pressure, and flow.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair boiler malfunctions to minimize downtime in critical processes.
  • Maintain detailed operational logs, ensuring proper documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to optimize steam supply and system efficiency.
  • Follow strict safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of equipment and prevent contamination.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience operating boilers, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
  • Boiler operator certification or license as per state/local regulations.
  • Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other industry-specific guidelines for pharmaceutical production.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with automated control systems and industrial boilers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and compliance.
