Job Overview

We are seeking a mid-level Assistant Manager in Safety for our Sattur location at GRT Jewellers (India) Private Limited. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring safety protocols and systems are implemented and maintained effectively. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in safety management, including safety auditing and implementing safety management systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in conducting safety audits to identify areas of improvement and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.
• Advanced knowledge in hazard identification and risk assessment, crucial for maintaining a safe working environment.
• Skilled in Safety Management Systems (Mandatory skill) to develop, implement, and improve safety protocols and ensure workplace safety.
• Expertise in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (hira) (Mandatory skill), integral for identifying potential risks and implementing preventative strategies.
• Proficient in emergency response planning to effectively prepare and respond to workplace emergencies.
• Experience in conducting incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Effective communication skills for educating staff and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable safety strategies.
