Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to join our team at Growel Feeds Private Limited. As an Assistant Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and organizing supporting documents
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, monthly and annual financial reports, and budget variance analysis
- Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures
- Assist in the coordination of audits and provide necessary documentation and support
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, perform bank reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Support the Accounts Manager in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on financial matters
