Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Security Guard with a minimum of 7 years to a maximum of 10 years of experience for the Senior level position. This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our campus and its occupants.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in security protocol and emergency response tactics (Mandatory skill).
• Exceptional physical fitness and ability to handle physically demanding tasks (Mandatory skill).
• Strong leadership skills, with the capacity to oversee and manage a team of security personnel.
• Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
• Proven customer service abilities to address inquiries and issues in a courteous manner.
• Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment operation.
• Sound decision-making abilities and capability to act swiftly in critical situations.
• Ability to collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor campus premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings, grounds, and other facilities.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing professional security services.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
• Oversee the functionality of security equipment and coordinate needed repairs or replacements.
• Train and supervise junior security staff, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Collaborate with college administration to formulate security policies and procedures.
• Act as a point of contact for external law enforcement and emergency service agencies.
