Job Overview
PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is seeking an experienced Hostel Warden for a senior-level position located in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have between 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. The Hostel Warden will be responsible for overseeing the management and administration of the hostel facilities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Leadership: strong ability to lead and manage hostel staff and students (Mandatory skill).
- Emergency Response: capable of handling emergencies effectively and efficiently (Mandatory skill).
- Team Management: experience in managing a diverse team within the hostel setting (Mandatory skill).
- Conflict Resolution: excellent skills in mediating conflicts among students or staff.
- Communication: outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Organization: highly organized with the ability to maintain records and oversee daily operations.
- Problem Solving: strong problem-solving skills for resolving various hostel-related issues.
- Counseling: ability to provide guidance and support to students in need.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring a well-maintained and secure environment.
- Manage and coordinate with hostel staff to provide a conducive living experience for students.
- Implement rules and regulations to maintain discipline among students.
- Handle emergencies and ensure the safety and well-being of all students residing in the hostel.
- Mediate conflicts and offer counseling to students facing personal or academic challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of hostel attendance, maintenance issues, and any incidents.
- Conduct periodic meetings with students and staff to address concerns and provide updates.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance student welfare and support services.
