Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a library or similar environment.
• Proficient in library organization techniques, ensuring all materials are correctly shelved and easily accessible.
• Experienced in cataloging and classifying library materials to facilitate efficient information retrieval.
• Strong reference services skills to assist students and staff in locating necessary information and resources.
• Excellent information retrieval skills, utilizing various databases and research tools.
• Effective customer service skills to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for library users.
• Knowledgeable in database management, ensuring library records and resources are current and well-maintained.
• Possess strong research skills to assist in academic inquiries and guide users in their research endeavors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the library, including the organization and management of library materials.
• Provide comprehensive cataloging and classification services for all library resources.

• Support the shelving of books and other materials, maintaining an orderly and easily navigable library.
