What are the qualities we are looking for? (Candidates will be tested for these qualities)

•      Tableau Expertise: Utilize your expertise in tableau to create dashboards for technology and business analytics using data from patents, research papers, commercial databases (e.g. Crunchbase), e-commerce websites, annual reports, whitepaper, and web-based search that is critical to our research and consulting projects.

•      Visualization Maestro: Leverage your experience to create exciting and appealing visualizations depicting patenting, research and innovation trends, geographical and statistical analysis, competitive intelligence, industry analysis, and company profiling transforming raw data into actionable insights.

•      Consulting Mindset: Develop a deep understanding of our clients' real-life and business problems, and provide consultative solutions in form of storyboards that drive impactful decision-making.

•      Data Handling: Utilize your data handling skills to design datasets that can be used for creating effective and impactful dashboards. This will include ensuring data sanitization, data interpretation, data modifications and calculations in Microsoft Excel as well as Tableau.

•      Collaboration: Work closely with a group of data and technology analysts, collaborating to gather, analyze, and interpret data that empowers our clients to thrive in their respective industries.

•     Teamwork and Collaboration: You will work with cross-functional teams, comprising professionals from different backgrounds and disciplines. You will learn how to collaborate effectively, respect diversity, and leverage the strengths of team members.

•     Problem Solving Skills: In this role, you will face complex business and technical problems that require creative solutions. You will develop analytical skills to identify the root cause of problems and propose effective solutions.

•     Adaptability: The technology industry is dynamic and constantly evolving. You will learn how to adapt to changing technologies, client needs, and market trends, and stay updated with     the latest developments in your field.

What you must have?

•   A minimum of 2+ year of experience in Tableau development, with a track record of creating dashboards for technology and business analytics.

•   Proficiency in MS Excel is a must.

•   Exposure to a variety of datasets including patent data, research paper data, company data, etc. is an added benefit.

•   Written and verbal fluency in English.

•   Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.

•   Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients effectively.

•   Skillful at multitasking and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
