Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join our team at Great Hire Solutions. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in housekeeping and maintenance management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper, with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of maintenance management and preventive maintenance
• Experience in carpet cleaning is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas of the facilities, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures
• Empty and clean waste containers and dispose of trash properly
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored and maintained in good condition
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with setting up and organizing conference rooms and other event spaces
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing leaky faucets
• Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, clients, and visitors
