Job Overview

Great Find Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of LAB HOD in the DRI Unit, based in Raigarh. This is a full-time, executive-level position requiring a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 30 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing laboratory operations, ensuring quality control, and analyzing data to enhance unit performance.

  • Extensive experience in laboratory management, including overseeing daily operations and staff coordination (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control processes within laboratory settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficient in data analysis, leveraging insights to drive improvements and efficiencies (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong team leadership capabilities, inspiring and guiding team members towards achieving common goals.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance issues relevant to laboratory and industrial environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.
  • Expertise in resource management, optimizing the use of personnel, equipment, and budget for maximum impact.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with various stakeholders.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all laboratory activities within the DRI Unit, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards, continually monitoring for compliance and improvements.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, insights, and areas for efficiency enhancements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align laboratory objectives with broader unit and organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, updating protocols as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative practices and solutions.
  • Oversee resource allocation and budgeting, ensuring efficient use of resources across all laboratory functions.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
