Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of GM Project Sponge DRI Mechanical, based in Raipur. This full-time, senior-level position requires a minimum of 8 years to a maximum of 12 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will lead mechanical projects within the Sponge DRI unit, ensuring top-notch project management and engineering expertise.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in project management, mechanical engineering, and working with Sponge DRI units (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Project for organizing, managing, and tracking project schedules effectively.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in project processes.
• Expertise in budget management to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Ability to coordinate the supply chain efficiently to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Exceptional leadership skills to manage and inspire a team towards achieving project goals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to address technical and logistical challenges promptly.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all mechanical project activities within the Sponge DRI unit, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and resolving any arising issues.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
• Conduct regular project reviews to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are maintained.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize potential impacts.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in all project activities.
