Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Vendor Management Executive to join with one of our clients in IT / Media Sector. This full-time position encompasses work across locations such as Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Cochin, and Thrissur. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in vendor management or a related field, with strong capabilities in building and maintaining vendor relationships. The role requires dynamic individuals capable of negotiating and managing contracts proficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in negotiation, able to ensure favorable terms and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Strong relationship management skills to effectively establish and nurture vendor connections.
- Ability to effectively manage and oversee contracts, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and resolving discrepancies when they arise.
- Proficient in supply chain management, understanding the intricacies of vendor interactions and logistics.
- Capable of evaluating vendors critically, ensuring their capability, compliance, and performance align with company requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and professional interactions with vendors and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that may arise in vendor relations or supply challenges.
- Analytical skills to assess data, make informed decisions, and optimize vendor performance.

- Develop and maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure service excellence and sustained partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms and mutual benefits.
- Conduct vendor evaluations to assess performance and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor supply chain activities to ensure seamless procurement and availability of goods/services.
- Resolve vendor-related issues proactively and efficiently to maintain cooperative relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic initiatives through effective vendor management.
- Regularly review vendor contracts for necessary updates and compliance assurance.
- Analyze market trends and vendor performance data to inform strategic decision-making and improve operations.
