Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Drafter for a leading Civil Construction Company in Kochi. As a Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The job is based in Cochin, Kerala, India, and the employment type is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Structural Drafter
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and concepts
• Ability to interpret and understand construction and architectural drawings
• Experience with piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID) and mechanical drawings is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings based on specifications and requirements
• Create construction drawings, architectural drawings, and engineering drawings
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate representation of the design
• Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes and updates
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plans
• Coordinate with other drafters and team members to meet project deadlines
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural drafting technologies
