Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team. This mid-level, full-time position is based in Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Ernakulam, Kollam, Kottayam, and Thrissur. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in engineering disciplines essential for day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in electrical engineering, HVAC, and equipment maintenance (Mandatory skill), ensuring the capability to manage and repair essential systems and machinery efficiently.
• Firm understanding of MEP systems that involve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integration for optimal building performance.
• Experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on design, analysis, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical systems.
• Competence in process control, emphasizing the implementation, monitoring, and adjustment of controlled processes to optimize performance.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and address technical issues swiftly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical details to team members and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Attention to detail to ensure precision in all engineering tasks, from maintenance to operational troubleshooting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, promoting shared goals and a supportive work culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain engineering systems, ensuring optimal performance of electrical and HVAC equipment.
• Implement routine checks and preventative maintenance measures on all building systems to preempt failures and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with MEP professionals to manage and update mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as necessary.
• Analyze mechanical engineering problems using technical expertise to suggest viable solutions to sustain continuous operations.
• Conduct process control evaluations, adjusting parameters to maintain efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
• Maintain documentation of all engineering activities, ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to execute repairs in a timely manner to minimize disruptions in service.
