Job Overview:
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive growth, enhance brand presence, and increase enrolment at our organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in business development, marketing, and a deep understanding of the animation and graphics design industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development and marketing strategies aligned with our goals and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the Academy’s market reach and student base.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Business Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including studios, corporations, educational institutions, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and promote innovative courses and programs that meet market demand.
- Lead negotiations and secure partnerships that enhance our offerings and industry connections.
Marketing and Branding:
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and enrolments.
- Utilize digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and other channels to effectively reach target audiences.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing business development and marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and achievement of targets.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team and track progress regularly.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse enrolment data, market trends, and campaign performance to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Community Engagement and Networking:
- Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the brand and establish thought leadership.
- Engage with alumni and industry professionals to build a strong community around our academy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development and marketing, preferably within the education or creative industries.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and successfully executing marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of the animation and graphics design industry and its market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
