Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Loss and Prevention Manager to join with one of our Hospitality Clints (5 Star Hotel in Kochi) on a full-time basis. This mid-level position requires 7 to 10 years of work experience and is based in Cochin, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, and Kollam. The ideal candidate will employ their expertise in hospitality and security to create a secure environment, minimizing risks and losses to support our operational success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 6 years in a loss prevention or security management role with demonstrated ability to mitigate risks and reduce losses.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, with a thorough understanding of operational security needs (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in hotel management practices to integrate security protocols seamlessly (Mandatory skill).
- Skilled in conducting security operations with an emphasis on proactive incident prevention (Mandatory skill).
- Strong knowledge in security systems management, enhancing the overall safety of premises and assets.
- Proven expertise in security measures, including asset protection and emergency response strategies.
- Experience with military operations preferred, but not essential, offering a strategic advantage in security programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to consult and collaborate to implement security initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention strategies tailored to minimize risk and safeguard company assets.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose appropriate prevention and response actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements, overseeing investigations into security breaches or incidents.
- Collaborate with management to design and enhance security training programs for staff and management personnel.
- Manage security operations, including the installation and maintenance of surveillance equipment and security systems.
- Analyze incident patterns and trends to develop proactive measures aimed at reducing future occurrences.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and engagement across all levels of employees and stakeholders.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency services to maintain a secure and responsive operational environment.
