Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Income Auditor for one of our clients in Trivandrum and Cochin. As the Income Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data related to income and revenue. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in income auditing. The role is based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in income auditing, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in using financial management software and MS Office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• High level of integrity and ethical standards

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of income and revenue data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Verify and reconcile financial transactions, records, and reports
• Identify discrepancies or irregularities in income data and take appropriate corrective actions
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to income
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and provide financial insights
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures for income auditing
• Stay updated with industry regulations and changes in accounting standards
• Provide support during external audits and implement recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
