Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Housekeeping Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the hospitality sector. The Housekeeping Manager will be based in one of the following locations: Palakkad district, Ernakulam, Wayanad, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, or Thrissur. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and expertise in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership (Mandatory skill): Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team to ensure high performance and commitment to company standards.
  • Attention to Detail (Mandatory skill): Keen eye for detail to maintain cleanliness and identify areas for improvement within the premises.
  • Cleaning Techniques (Mandatory skill): Proficiency in various cleaning techniques and the ability to train staff on best practices for maintaining hygiene.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage time to ensure all tasks are completed within established timeframes without compromising quality.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and guests.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues related to housekeeping services promptly.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and coordinate tasks, schedules, and resources for optimal performance.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing a team, including planning workloads, providing feedback, and fostering a supportive work environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards are met consistently across all areas.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and protocols to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance skills and maintain a motivated team.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure availability of necessary cleaning materials.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or requirements.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance, making recommendations for upgrades if necessary.
  • Develop schedules and assign tasks to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance activities are completed.
  • Maintain accurate records related to housekeeping activities, supplies, and staff performance for reporting purposes.
