Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Head Waiter to join our team at various locations including Ooty, Coimbatore, Salem, Mysuru, Madikeri, and Kodaikanal. This is a full-time position at the junior level, ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The Head Waiter will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a customer-centric role within the food and beverage industry, ensuring guest satisfaction and quality service.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, enabling the ability to assist guests with menu selections and wine pairings.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management, ensuring smooth operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Experienced waiter skills with a history of providing attentive and personalized dining service to guests.
- Proficiency in food service operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Expertise in restaurant service, including table setting, order taking, and delivering a fine dining experience.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently while keeping a composed demeanor.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and train junior staff, ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to service standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to provide seamless dining experiences from order placement to delivery.
- Supervise the dining area, ensuring tables are well set, clean, and ready for guests at all times.
- Resolve any service issues, anticipating guest needs and handling special requests with professionalism.
- Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Assist in inventory management, tracking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
