Job Overview

We are hiring a Gold Loan Manager for one of the leading NBFC in Cochin. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India. The ideal candidate should have a mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in the field of gold loans. The primary responsibility of the Gold Loan Manager is to manage and oversee the gold loan portfolio of the company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in gold loans or similar role
• Strong knowledge of gold loan products, services, and processes
• Understanding of general insurance, life insurance, home equity loans, business loans, and car loans
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in loan assessments
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficient in using loan management software and MS Office

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the gold loan portfolio of the company
• Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility criteria
• Conduct thorough analysis of customer financials and credit history
• Assess the value of gold collateral and calculate loan amounts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and customer information
• Monitor loan repayments and follow up with delinquent customers
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in gold loan market
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth
