Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Food and Beverage Controller for a full-time position in Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Tanjore, Thiruvarur, Pudukkottai, and Karaikal. This role is pivotal in managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations within the hospitality sector. The position requires an expert with exceptional skills in inventory management and food cost control.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in inventory management, ensuring efficient tracking and utilization of stock (Mandatory skill).
- Proven ability in cost control to maintain financial efficiency and optimize food and beverage expenditures.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Strong purchasing skills to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and ensure quality procurement.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, understanding the dynamic nature and demands of the sector.
- Proficiency in hotel operations, contributing to overall operational success and profitability.
- Competence in food cost management to accurately price menu items and maximize profit margins.
- Proven track record as a food and beverage controller, demonstrating effective management and organizational skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory management system to ensure optimal stock levels and accurate record-keeping.
- Implement cost-saving measures and analyze financial data to control expenses within the food and beverage department.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, conducting regular audits and training sessions.
