Qualifications and Skills
- Facility maintenance with experience in the upkeep of the physical environment and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and meets safety standards (Mandatory skill).
- Soft services expertise in managing non-technical aspects such as landscaping, janitorial services, and waste management for a clean facility (Mandatory skill).
- Housekeeping ability to oversee and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met throughout all sites (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in budget management, capable of planning and tracking expenditures to keep projects within financial limits while optimizing resource use.
- Vendor management skills to effectively liaise with external suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality deliverables and beneficial contracts.
- Project management experience in leading facility-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and with quality results.
- Health and safety compliance to oversee and implement safety protocols, minimizing risks to employees and guests through adherence to legal and company standards.
- Strong team leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team to achieve departmental goals and maintain a high-performance culture.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations of facility management across multiple locations, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to guarantee optimal functioning of facilities while managing emergencies and unplanned repairs effectively.
- Engage with vendors and service providers to negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring quality of work and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all facilities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and conducive working environment.
- Lead a team of facility staff, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to achieve operational objectives.
- Prepare, manage, and execute facility budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization and adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor and report on facility performance, preparing metrics and reports for upper management review and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and support companywide soft services, including housekeeping and ancillary services to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
