Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Captain to join our team in strategic locations across Kerala, including Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Thrissur. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and work on a full-time basis. This role demands a proactive individual capable of overseeing dining experiences and ensuring operational excellence in a restaurant setting.
Qualifications and Skills
- Leadership (Mandatory skill): Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to effectively manage and motivate a team in a dynamic restaurant environment.
- Responsible for managing the dining experience in a restaurant (Mandatory skill): Possess the ability to ensure guest satisfaction through meticulous dining management.
- Take orders, serve foods, and ensure timely delivery (Mandatory skill): Proficient in taking accurate orders, serving food efficiently, and managing time-sensitive service operations.
- Oversee restaurant operations and ensure smooth running: Capability to supervise overall restaurant functions, ensuring seamless operations and optimal customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in the food and beverage area: Uphold stringent hygiene standards in all food service areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Train and supervise servers and other staff: Provide comprehensive training and supervision to enhance staff skills and service quality.
- Excellent communication skills: Effective communication abilities to interact with patrons, staff, and management.
- Problem-solving skills: Adept at identifying issues swiftly and implementing viable solutions to enhance service efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the dining service staff and ensure they provide excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and satisfactorily.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of food and service.
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items to assist guests and staff effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages and surpluses.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct regular team meetings to update staff on new protocols and menu items.
