We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team and support our mission.


Job Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing the HR functions of our company. This position requires a well-rounded HR professional with experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and other HR-related areas. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of handling various HR responsibilities with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and job offers. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and issues. Promote a positive work environment and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including immigration laws relevant to employees and clients. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data security.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities for employees. Identify skill gaps and work with management to develop training plans.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and other compensation-related activities. Assist employees with benefits enrolment and questions.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures. Ensure that all employees are aware of and adhere to company policies.
  • Performance Management: Support performance evaluation processes, including goal setting and performance reviews. Work with management to address performance issues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in HR, preferably in the immigration or legal services industry.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with immigration compliance and related regulations is a plus.
