Senior Accountant position available at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY in Ambattur, Chennai. This is a full-time role with a requirement of 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting. Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with GAAP.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations.
• Conduct audits to verify financial information and identify any discrepancies.
• Provide financial analysis, variance analysis, and budget VS actual analysis.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor and document financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
• Maintain knowledge of current accounting regulations and changes in GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
