Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating project team members, ensuring project goals and objectives are met, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management in the mechanical industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Executive level project management experience in the mechanical industry
• Strong knowledge of machine maintenance, equipment maintenance, installation, erection, commissioning
• Experience in managing greenfield projects
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee mechanical projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with project team members, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
• Ensure project goals and objectives are met within the specified timeframes
• Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
• Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
