Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Good Five Yes Job Consultancy. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our senior accountants in managing the financial transactions and records of our clients. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with a focus on general accounts, GST, Tally, financial accounting, billing process, invoice processing, and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with GST regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in Tally software for financial recording and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Good understanding of financial accounting and bookkeeping
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping activities
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
• Handle general accounts duties such as bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report preparation
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Collaborate with senior accountants to support financial analysis and planning
• Contribute to the billing process and invoice processing
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records
