Job Overview

We are hiring a Female Junior Accountant for our company located in Ayapakkam, Chennai. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience required. The ideal candidate should have expertise in general accounts, Tally, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliation, and good communication skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or relevant role
• Proficient in using Tally software
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with tax regulations and filing requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and transactions
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare and submit accurate tax documents and returns
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Support the senior accountants in various tasks
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives
