Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team at Good Five Yes Job Consultancy. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing products, creating detailed drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Design Engineer
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SOLIDWORKS and Creo
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Creative ideation and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative products based on client requirements and industry standards
• Create detailed engineering drawings using CAD software such as SOLIDWORKS and Creo
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing professionals, to ensure product functionality and manufacturability
• Conduct product testing, analyze data, and make necessary design modifications
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, engineering principles, and regulatory standards
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and manufacturing processes
• Provide technical support and guidance to the production team during the manufacturing process
• Participate in design reviews and present design proposals to stakeholders
• Document design processes, specifications, and test results
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and recommend effective solutions
