Job Overview

We are seeking a Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at GOOD FIVE YES JOB CONSULTANCY. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of new products, creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of designs. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, preferably SOLIDWORKS
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings
• Experience with manufacturing processes and materials
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of new products
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of designs
• Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs
• Prototype and test designs to ensure functionality and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure product requirements are met
