JD
- Designs, plans, installs, and/or maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk, or high-reliability environments such as data centers, medical facilities, laboratories, or utilities infrastructure.
- Has proficient understanding of sensitive facility components that may be impacted by failures or malfunctions of infrastructure systems.
- Analyzes current operating conditions and recommends new preventative and proactive methods for maintaining and monitoring facilities systems.
- Evaluates facility standards and practices to improve maintenance procedures and ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Complies with organizational and governmental safety standards.
- Coordinates response to emergency situations and ensures that corrective measures are rapid and thorough.
- Participates in the planning and installation of new facility systems.
- May work with multiple components including HVAC systems, air or liquid cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units, power distribution units, fire systems, life safety systems, etc.
