MULESOFT + JAVA + API INTEGRATION + DEPLOYMENT ON AWS
Responsibilities
· Develop high-quality applications using MuleSoft software deployed in AWS
· Build custom policies, frameworks/components, Mule flows, error handling, transaction tracing
· Be well versed with Open API Specification (OAS) and know the difference between API development and API management
· Understand the construct of API Provider and API Consumer, and their journey in the API Management ecosystem
· Setup security models and policies for consumers and producers of API and catalog assets
· Help the team deploy the code on MuleSoft’s RTF deployment
· Build integration/connections with Mainframe, Kafka, Mongo DB, AWS RedShift, and other AWS Products
· Create wrapper APIs based on Mule Anypoint Platform Management APIs for automation
· Implement OIDC API Security with MuleSoft as a resource server
· You are expected to know XSLT
· Coordinate performance testing and performance tuning of MuleSoft applications
· Setup API Analytics for consumption through various channels including Splunk and custom dashboards
· Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
· Assist integrations team in adopting and learning MuleSoft
· Work collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team
· You'll participate in agile ceremonies - daily stand-up meetings, weekly sprint planning and review meetings, team design sessions, code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.
· Deliver accurate effort estimates for assigned development tasks.
· Work with the QA team to help them diagnose possible bugs and guide them on testing requirements associated with new code changes.
Qualifications:
· BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
· 5+ years of application programming and solution experience using MuleSoft.
· Extensively worked on Mule DataWeave component/functions to create mappings, transform, group, and split data.
· Hands-on Experience in developing API with Munits, Exceptional handling and various mule core components.
· Integration specialist having real-time experience with multiple Mule connectors such as HTTP Listener/Requestor, Kafka, Database, JMS, File, SFTP etc.
· Experience integrating with Mainframe using available MuleSoft connectors, i.e., IBM CICS Transaction Gateway connector.
· Hands-on Experience in implementing out-of-box and custom policies using API Manager and gateway products.
· Experience implementing APIs using APIed connectivity, API design fast approach using various MuleSoft product stacks such as Designer, Exchange, API Gateway etc.
· Experience with API Gateway, OIDC providers Ping federate
· Working knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
· Familiarity with AWS EC2, S3, Route 53, ECS in addition to Terraform is desired.
· Java and/or Python experience preferred.
· Worked on CI/CD pipeline for code deployment by engaging different tools (Git, Jenkins) in the process right from developer code check-in to Production deployment
· Test and improve performance of the APIs in terms of response time, stability and optimize resource usage.
· Technology Certifications preferred, such as MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect / Integration Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher
