Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team at Global Furnovate, located in Bangalore. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Financial Reporting (Mandatory skill)
• Account Reconciliation (Mandatory skill)
• Budgeting (Mandatory skill)
• Tax Preparation experience with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Auditing skills to evaluate financial documentation and systems
• Strong financial analysis capabilities to interpret and assess financial performance
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP to ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Proficiency in Excel, including the use of complex formulas and data analysis tools

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to support business decision-making
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance
• Manage tax preparations and filings in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Perform internal audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information
• Analyze financial statements and data to identify trends and provide insights
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Utilize Excel for preparing spreadsheets, reports, and financial models
