Introduction of Company: GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (P) Ltd., an ISO 9001-2015, 14001-2015 accredited Company, engaged in manufacturing of premium quality Aluminium profiles. It operates 2 advanced automated units strategically located very close to each other at Kallakal Village of Medak district. The infrastructure has been setup with most advanced equipment’s and 100% power back up facilities. It caters the intricate global needs with an installed capacity of 50,000 TPA with in house anodising and powder coating facilities.

Job Purpose:

Person will responsible to carry out the job pertaining to Mechanical & Electrical maintenance department smoothly in both the units 1 & 2.

Responsibilities:

·      To collect the feedback from operations people regarding the problems of equipment’s and to arrange to attend the same.

·      To plan and execute the necessary preventive maintenance of both the Units. 

·      To identify various spares requiredand to raise the indent for the same.

·      Daily checking of reports and to locate abnormality occurring in equipment as per the reports made by his team.

·      Daily checking of all the critical parameter in the machines.

·      Should have good knowledge in Hydraulics and other electro-mechanical equipment’s and machines.

·      To assist and instruct as to how to attend breakdowns and the procedure of dismantling of the defective parts and repairs thereof.

·      To control and minimize the maintenance and production cost by doing necessary modifications in the machinery if required and regular preventive maintenance.

·      In house modifications of equipment to reduce down time, reduce the cost of production, make the equipment user friendly and enhance the life of machinery.

·      Good control over sub-ordinates @ Manager level up to technician.

·      Good co-ordination with heads of other departments and managers for better operations of the machine.

·      Good knowledge in the operation of 33KV and 11KV substation and transformers.

• Should be well conversant with electrical and mechanical drawings of machineries and equipment’s used in the plant.
• To lead and guide a team of engineers in the areas of electrical maintenance, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and supplier interaction.

·      Maintaining the discipline and monitoring of the department allotted area as per 5S Methodology.

·      Should able to delegate department workload effectively and monitor its progress towards completion.

·      Should able to motivate and manage the team.

·      Monitoring and controlling of all the safety gears.

Requisite Skills:

·      Sound knowledge in electrical circuits, PLC & drives programming.

·      Sound knowledge in Maintenance & operation of mechanical, hydraulic electro-hydro and electro-mechanical controlled equipment.

·      Should have good knowledge of Industrial and machine drawing and should be able to carry any modification as required.

·      Should have good decision making ability on equipment during Breakdown and preventive maintenance of the same.

·      Should have good knowledge of equipment and selection of vendors to get good equipment at a reasonable cost.

·      Should have good knowledge and sense to identify problems in the running equipment and to take corrective action immediately.

·      Should have knowledge about critical spares required, time required for the procurement of the same.

·      And should have knowledge to decide the criticality spares and purchase and maintaining minimum stock / inventory of stores and control the purchase requisition raised by sub-ordinates.

Desired Skills:

·      Appropriate technical qualification is required.

·      Good communicational skills.

·      Able to handle large workforce.

·      Well experience in problem solving and root cause analysis skills.

·      Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced production environment, often under time constraints.

·      Strong computer skills with knowledge to read and modify machine programs and familiarity with office productivity software and business control software such as ERP.
