Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Desktop Support professional to join our team at Gig Workplace. As a Desktop Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our employees. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Familiarity with network connectivity and protocols
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure its proper functioning
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Monitor and respond to IT support tickets
• Educate and assist employees with technology-related queries
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and support IT infrastructure projects
• Follow IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity
