Purchase – Raw Material

Ø Arranging materials in a short notice of time at our operations as per schedules.

Ø Arranging materials for each location.

Ø With good negotiation skills New vendor development, new products developments and alternative products development.  

Ø Savings initiatives:  By developing new vendors and alternate products achieving monthly savings targets.

Ø Good knowledge in food safety, quality control as ours certified organization.

Ø Monthly purchase projections, purchase planning, strategic sourcing plan, Supply chain and logistics to deliver the material with right price, right place and right time.

Ø Spearheading purchasing and subcontracts teams to establish/implement purchasing strategies and planning activities aligning with the company strategies, goals and objectives.

Ø Ensuring uninterrupted supply of all material to all location at the best cost possible while carrying optimized inventory.

Ø Responsible for projection for the next month procurement

Ø Management of subcontractors for the procurement of materials in support of multiple programs.

ü   Buying strategies

ü   Vendor capacity evaluations on business plan

ü   Up gradations and developments alternate source

ü   Material evaluations to ensure availability

ü   Controlling material cost variance

ü   Collaborating with regional and global principals and vendors for imported material

ü   Vendor feedback and engagement to improve vendor capability and joint system efficiency

Ø Vendor Management

Ø Conducting vendor meetings to follow our quality parameters, packing and food hygiene as per the company food safety policies.

Ø Identifying and developing a reliable vendor for procurement of materials.

Ø Sourcing components, negotiating vendors for improving product quality & reducing lead time for deliveries.

Ø Releasing supply schedules to vendors to ensure on time deliveries.

Ø Consulting supplier’s for best quality material with minimum rates, checking the supplier’s Bill, Passing by authorized person and release their payment.

Ø Invitation of Quotations and Finalization of Contracts.

Ø Submission of monthly MIS reports to the management.

Ø Vendor evaluation reports.

Ø Material storage & ware housing:

§ Handling cold storage and dry storages with a monthly

§ Monitoring slow moving, non moving materials to avoid wastage in storage of food materials.

§ Inventory management.  Maintaining inventory at required levels.

§ Handling the material Department and maintaining a better procedure for Time, Cost, Safety and Quality

§ Establishing Procurement targets for inventory.

§ Meticulously maintaining all records for issue and receipt of material in  the stores.

                       Daily updating stock entries.
