GD is primarily a B2B modelled company, collaborating with small/medium size laboratories, hospitals and similar medical institutions. This is a critical profile and shall have the key responsibilities assigned and monitored by the top management. The Associate/ Executive of
GD’s Business Development Department is tasked with meeting prospective clients (or existing ones) in an assigned territory face to face, presenting and impressing upon the advantages of tying up with GD and close the transaction.
The opportunity is significant specifically for fresher or profiles with limited experience. There is a big scope of learning to become an ace profile in the industry.
The JD can be wider in scope based on how much the candidate can bite n chew, but shall broadly be as under:
Identify prospective clients in a territory who are likely to avail the services of GD.
Ensure the daily visits to prospective clients, quality of pitch, and profile of on boarded clients are per the organization’s expectations.
Analyze market in the territory to identify new opportunities. Keep an eye on competition and help strategize against the changing dynamics of market.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the product portfolio including technical aspects and marketing tactics.
Complete sales cycle starting from database building, lead generating, client onboarding, to assisting in receiving payments.
